YOUR Career in Fluid Power (7 minutes)

A high-energy, high-impact introduction to the fluid power industry that encourages high school and college students to learn about the world of fluid power and consider the exciting careers available in the field. The seven-minute video offers a realistic look at the opportunities and challenges facing three young fluid power engineers – each on a different career track.


The following two documentaries were produced by the Minnesota Channel of Twin Cities Public Television in cooperation with the National Fluid Power Association (NFPA) and the Center for Compact and Efficient Fluid Power (CCEFP). Discovering Fluid Power and Fluid Power: A Force for Change are each 30-minute explorations of the fluid power industry and its positive effects on our current and future society.

Discovering Fluid Power (30 minutes)

Offers a general overview and an in-depth introduction to fluid power technology.

Fluid Power: A Force for Change (30 minutes)

Emphasizes current research in fluid power as well as the promise it holds for a rising generation of young engineers looking for exciting and socially-responsible careers.
