The NFPA Education and Technology Foundation is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt, charitable organization that is committed to meeting the workforce development needs of the U.S. fluid power industry. Through the generous support of our donors, our programs are engaging students in fluid power and connecting them to careers in the industry. Here’s a snapshot :

• NFPA Fluid Power Action Challenge — Middle and high school students learn about fluid power in action-packed competitions
• Student Career Connections — Students connect with industry on informative company tours
• NFPA Robotics Challenge Scholarship — High school student receives merit-based scholarship for using pneumatics in FIRST® Robotics Competition
• Fluid Power Laboratory Grants — Students get hands-on experience in newly equipped labs at technical schools and community colleges
• NFPA Fluid Power Vehicle Challenge — Undergraduate students are challenged to design fluid power vehicles
• Fluid Power Curriculum Grants — University faculty use undergraduate-level curriculum to engage students in hydraulics and pneumatics
• New—Student Scholarship Program (FPEF Scholarships) — Engineering students receive financial assistance to further their studies
