The Center for Compact and Efficient Fluid Power (CCEFP) is a network of researchers, educators and industry volunteers working together to transform fluid power—how it is studied, applied and taught. Through research, the network is creating hydraulic and pneumatic technology that is compact, efficient and effective. Through education and outreach, knowledge about fluid power is being transferred to diverse audiences—students of all ages, users of fluid power, and the general public. NFPA is proud to partner with the CCEFP.

NFPA brought the fluid power industry together to compete for and win the multi-million dollar grant from the National Science Foundation that made the CCEFP possible. We continue to be active in CCEFP activities and events, helping our members engage with its expanding research base and student population. The CCEFP is a central strategy in our efforts to advance fluid power technology and help our members connect to talent development pipelines to develop the future of their businesses.
