Introducing NFPA’s first survey for distribution members, the State of the Fluid Power Industry – Distributors Survey (SOFP-D). This quick and easy monthly survey gives you the pulse of the distribution channel, with expectations for overall business, engineered systems, service/repairs, and inventories. And, along with the distributors' results, participants also receive access to the manufacturers' results every month!

It takes less than 5 minutes to complete!

On the second Monday of every month all NFPA distributor members receive the survey via e-mail with six multiple choice questions on

• shipment projections,
• hiring plans,
• inventory levels and

This free electronic opinion-based survey provides the only report that allows channel peers to express their opinion on the current and future state of our distribution channel every month.

As a participant, these opinions, combined with diffusion indexing and NFPA analysis, allow you to:

• Identify the distribution channel's position in the business cycle
• Anticipate how the distribution channel will do in the months to come
• Track distribution channel backlog and hiring plans
• Analyze the progress of your company compared to others.
